it is just 5 minutes taxi away from hurghada's new strip which offers a wealth
of restaurants, ranging from the traditional local arabic cuisine, all the way
to western foods including italian, sea food, chinese and even curry houses!!
many hotels (ie. hilton / intercontinental), have several restaurants as well
as there being family favourites such as macdonalds, kentucky and pizza hut for
those less adventurous or on a budget!! - price is rarely an issue in hurghada
- its guaranteed to be cheaper than home!!! - macdonalds even deliver to the
villa! the hard rock cafe is always highly recommended and don't forget to buy
the t-shirt!!.
for those wanting more hustle and bustle downtown hurghada with its shopping
and night life is an experience in itself and is no more than 10 minutes by
taxi. prepare to haggle - its all fun and bargains are available for the brave
of heart. fixed price shops are there for the less adventurous. local
specialities are the perfume shops, papyrus and alabaster. ask the villa
manager for guidance
kids will also love a day at the titanic water park with rides to suit all
ages.
locally trips into the desert via jeep or quad bikes are readily available and
starlit bbqs with the bedouins are a must.
beach sports are available locally and magawish is home to a world renowned
kite surfing centre. there are also two golf courses are within a short drive
from the villa - remember just ask the manager.
